The night’s performances begin with the first of two songs from Josh Krajcik who was joined on stage by Alainis Morrisette. Alanis called Josh, “a soulful man.” LA called the performance surreal; adding it was a natural pairing. Paula said that she couldn’t think of a better way to open up the show; adding that Josh kept his identity during the performance. Simon felt that Josh was a little intimidated in the beginning and gave the performance an eight out of 10. Nicole said Josh did a beautiful job.
